Tajudeen Okekunle AMUSA is a Professor in the Department of Forest Resources Management, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He served as Acting Head of the Department from 2018 to 2020. He also served as Deputy Chairman, Zoological Garden Management Board within the same period. He was the Coordinator of the African Centre for Herbal Research, Ilorin (ACHRI) from 2022 to 2024. His research focus offer a blend of socio-economic perspective of renewable natural resources management with conservation ecology and other concerns that would engender sustainability. He is a multi-grant award winner and has participated in several research and development projects within and outside the country. He served as a research fellow with the African Forest Forum from 2015 to 2016. He has also served as External Examiner to several universities within and outside the country. He is a member of the National-Level IUCN Expert Assessment Group for the Green List (EAGL).
