Tajudeen Okekunle AMUSA is a Professor in the Department of Forest Resources Management, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He served as Acting Head of the Department from 2018-2020. He also served as Deputy Chairman of the Zoological Garden Management Board during the same period. He is currently the Coordinator of the African Centre for Herbal Research, Ilorin (ACHRI). His research focus offers a blend of the socio-economic perspective of renewable natural resources management with conservation ecology and other concerns that would engender sustainability. He is a multi-grant award winner and has participated in several research and development projects within and outside the country. He served as a research fellow with the African Forest Forum from 2015-2016. He has also served as an External Examiner to Stellenbosch University and the University of Pretoria, both in South Africa. He is a member of the National-Level IUCN Expert Assessment Group for the Green List (EAGL).
